Assalamualaikum and a
very good morning to all members of the floor.
His Excellency the Chairman of the Council, the Honorable Datuk Ibrahim Bin Yusoff, Ketereh Assemblyman Parks, the Endeavour Madam Kalthum Binti Adnan, Principal of SMK Ketereh, Mr Mohd Fairuz Bin Abdullah as Ketereh School PTA President, Senior Teachers' SMK Ketereh, school teachers, parents, students and the audiences. Alhamdulillah, we are grateful to the Almighty because we can together and met in the Parent Teacher Association SMK Ketereh. Firstly, thank you for inviting me to officiate the ceremony. I express my congratulations to everyone who is willing to sacrifice for the betterment of the school and the education for the children.
Ladies and gentlemen,
As we all know, the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is an organization that is very important to the development of the school. It is undeniable that the role and responsibilities of the PTA with affect the school progress and achievement. This is because, the PTA is a medium to create direction and goals of the school towards excellence in education. PTA is an excellent management that will produce a distinctive school and hoped to be applied fully to achieve what we want. Therefore, I urge that we join forces and contribute ideas to develop and promote educational excellence PTA for their children. The difference from the point of view and opinions among members and not a barrier to work together to make positive contributions to the advancement of this association. Therefore, to realize aspirations and vision of the desired education, we need to strengthen ties between schools and parents through the PTA. This will create a collaborative relationship who want to generate a school of excellence.
Ladies and gentlemen,
The importance of education requires us to be ready to accept changes in parallel with the development of education in the era of globalization. Hence, the management should not be reckoned with in dealing with this situation. PTA management must be efficient in the facing current changes because it will reflect the quality of leadership and association goals and objectives that need to be achieved. Therefore, the PTA can perform several activities that was planned and collaborated with the school’s needs.
Ladies and gentlemen,
Social problems today is worrisome in which social ills and moral decay that involves teenagers and school students. Factor that contributes much of this problem. Therefore, all parties should take this very seriously and the roles and responsibilities of the PTA is required to jointly work with the school management. Congratulations goes to the school that strives to improve performance. Therefore, I hope that parents together on the field and commit to the school so that students can be educated as a whole and not submit responsibility of educating the school alone.
Ladies and gentlemen,
Moral values and the role of parents is the recipe for the success of any educational organization in the country. In addition, a strong impetus to improve school performance should be accompanied by a profound awareness of the actual role of teachers in educating students to become good human beings. This includes the question of values, morality and culture that applied to the soul of each student to develop personal perfection and strength of identity. In our efforts to improve performance, the students should be taught the values and brought up to always respect their teachers and parents, endeavored to improve the ability of the body, help and compete in a healthy way of helping to create success together. I hope parents can play a more active role in driving the school of excellence. PTA also should plan and implement programs to reinforce learning in conjunction with the school. Teachers should also receive ongoing mentoring in schools through the sharing of best practices by the teachers of excellence. In addition, principals should also guide the teachers in improving the quality of teaching and learning, hands-on. This is because the main task is not only manage the school principal, but also provide guidance to teachers on use of best teaching and learning.
Ladies and gentlemen,
I am sure that with continued collaboration between all parties, greater success will be achieved. Finally, I urge all parties to contribute assistance, either physically or spiritually to the schools for our children. We hould work together for our children betterment in the future. It gives me great pleasure to officiate the Parent Teacher Association SMK Ketereh. Thank you.
